Welcome to Mellor Community Primary School!

Our website is intended to be a practical guide and point of reference. We hope you find it useful.

Every term, teachers, pupils, community outreach workers and governors will add information to the website in order to celebrate the types of curriculum activities and extended school opportunities we offer at Mellor. We will also highlight events and activities at the school's Cross Corners Community Arts Centre part funded through (Spaces for the Sports and the Arts) and the local education authority.

Mellor is proud of our close community links and extended school provision. We believe in an active community, enriched by a diversity of cultures. The school is committed to offering a welcoming and well-resourced environment. We believe that all children are entitled to a curriculum, which offers challenges and support to enable them to reach their full potential and be the best they can be.

Through our teaching, we hope to enable children to become confident, resourceful and independent learners who show respect for a diverse range of cultures and are able to build positive relationships with others. Our most recent Ofsted 2018 report says Mellor is a GOOD school. We are committed to provide opportunities to enable successful outcomes for all our pupils.
